Program:
Several state and federal laws define the role of personal assistance in the workplace.
Benefit:
Under certain circumstances, an employer can be required to provide personal assistance services as a reasonable workplace accommodation.
Eligibility:
The terms of any workplace accommodation are determined individually.
Cost:
The cost of personal assistance services in the workplace may be borne by the employer, the employee or state or federal programs.
