California's emergency help for Medi-Cal users who are Medicare Beneficiaries in Medicare Part D has expired.

California's Emergency Drug Benefit ended on January 31, 2007. It had helped people on Medi-Cal and Medicare who were having trouble getting their drugs at the pharmacy. According to the most recent bulletin from the California Department of Health Care Services, claims made after 12:00 AM on February 1, 2007 are not eligible for the emergency help.
